Great fly fishing remains in the Teton River In the basin and all boat ramps are open, water is clear, cold, and of normal flow. Be wary of recreational floaters Dry-dropper rigs using PMD life cycle patterns work well. Yellow sally, and the few golden stones should have representative patterns in that fly box. Caddis flies take over during evenings.  Big stoneflies are gone from the canyon, but large dry attractor patterns will bring up fish from sheltering waters. From Hog Hollow downstream, PMDs are active during daytime hours with caddisflies active in the evening. McCoy Creek and Bear Creek are in good dry fly condition with PMDs, some golden stones, and caddis activity resulting in feeding trout. Palisades Creek offers good caddisfly activity during afternoons. Fishing in the upper Blackfoot River may level off a bit because of low, warm flow but gets the fly fisher away from the crowds on the famed rivers nearby. The Little Lost River drainage is in good fishing conditions with PMDs, yellow sallies and afternoon caddis attracting trout to feed. Fish it  early in the day. The best fishing on the Little Lost River drainage will be over in the next few weeks as it tends to warm significantly and decrease in flow as mid-summer approaches.
