Still Waters

Early and late in the day are the best times to fly fish irrigation reservoirs. The only exception on being depleted and has limited warming water is Daniels Reservoir which has a drawdown limit. Life cycle patterns for speckled dun mayflies, damsel flies and scud patterns will produce there especially on the west side and north end. As with all still waters during summer, the best fishing will be early and late in the day.
